Some people have reported problems with the USB charge and computer connection module on the Nexus 7 1st Generation along with headphones connection issues.
In the attached video I explained how I remove the USB / Sound Module from the Nexus 7.

Made an unplanned Nexus spare part purchase yesterday. Absolutely faultless in every way and the part arrived in less than a day. Can't praise him high enough.
